Upcoming Volunteer Opportunity
We will be volunteering at the Rumble Ponies concession stand again this year. We work for tips that go directly to the rescue. Students are able to use this to fulfill their community service hours. Parking is free. We provide a cool tee shirt to wear. Shifts are about 3-4 hours. Cashless easy peasy system. Students must be 16 years old and have a permission slip/waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Training is provided by the Rumble Ponies and Rumble Ponies staff is in the stand at all times. Please send us a message if you have students that are interested. We also need volunteers in general so please spread the word! The more tips we earn, the more cats we can help!!
Our youngest volunteer, Paisley, beside Peg, during our Photo's With Santa Event on 12/06/25.
We are heartbroken by the sudden loss of Mikayla Williams, one of our younger volunteers whose kindness and love left a lasting mark on everyone she met - especially the cats she cared for so devotedly.
In her time with us, Mikayla gave more than help; she gave patience, warmth, and a sense of safety to animals who needed it most. The cats trusted her instinctively, drawn to her calm presence and gentle ways. Through simple acts of care, she made the cats foster home a place of comfort and hope.
Though her life was far too short, the compassion Mikayla shared will continue to ripple through the lives she touched - human and animal alike. She reminded us that even quiet kindness matters deeply.
Mikayla will be remembered not only for what she did, but for who she was: dedicated, loving, caring, and full of heart. Her absence is deeply felt, and she will be forever missed.
Our thoughts are with Mikayla’s family, friends, and all who loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave.
