TNR- We can help you help them!
Have you found a litter of kittens? Are you feeding one or more stray cats? We can help you help them!
Our primary goal is always TNR to stop the breeding of unwanted cats or kittens. We can help you trap, spay and neuter your cats.
There is no such thing as "It's not my cat". If you are feeding it or if it is hanging out in your yard, house, garage, under the deck etc. the responsible thing to do is get the cat scanned for a microchip (if it truly isn't your cat) and have it spayed/neutered to prevent breeding. Females can and do go into heat while nursing a litter and one cat can easily turn into 15+ in one season. A male will travel miles to breed with a female. Kittens can breed as early as 4 months of age- that's 16 weeks folks!
We can loan and teach you how to use traps, refer you to low cost spay & neuter programs, teach you how to use a kennel system for socializing kittens and holding on to adults while they await surgery and recover from it.
All the shelters and rescues are full!!?? We offer a starter set up! We will provide a kennel big enough for food, water, litter box and bed together with food and litter so you can foster in place. We will help with vet care, flea and worm medication, give instructions and tips on how to socialize kittens, how to care for feral moms, screen potential adopters and list your fosters for adoption on our sites. This prevents more feral street cats and solves the problem of even more unwanted kittens being born. We also recommend that you get on wait lists with other shelters and rescues that may be able to take in your cats and kittens when they have an opening.
